I'm Heather, owner and principal photographer of Posh Pooch Portraits. I have been photographing pets and people professionally for over 30 years. While I have photographed a range of subjects from weddings, to newborn babies, families, and business headshots, pets are what has brought me the most joy and is my passion. I love the joy that I then experience with my clients when they see their images and display them as artwork in their homes.

When we recently lost the 3rd and last dog(age 19!) in our pack, it became more clear than ever the importance of having quality portraits to display on my walls. Being able to decorate my home with artwork of our beloved furry friends brings great comfort and daily smiles when they can no longer be with us.

When I'm not photographing, editing or hanging artwork in client's home, I'm keeping fit for the physical demands of the job with strength training, yoga, hiking, and most recently pickleball! I practice daily meditation and am a certified meditation teacher as well as holistic health coach, all of which keeps me grounded and calm while energetic, which is priceless when working with pets.

Some of the most frequent comments I hear from my clients are "you're so patient!" and "you've caught the essence of my dog/cat!" I'm excited to capture fun fine art portraits of your beloved furry friend, and look forward to hearing from you!
